     BIOGRAPHY: Bevolking van Hoboken eind 17de eeuw. Uit de belasting of zetboek 1694: Aertus Slootmans, sijn vrouw, 5 kinderen, d'outste kinderen een van twintich ende een van sesthien, d'andere onder de derthien jaeren. Een peert, drij konijnen, een rund, 8 gulden 14 stuivers.
Translation: Inhabitants of Hoboken (area in Antwerpen) end 17th century. From the tax or tax register 1694: Aertus Slootmans, his wife, 5 children, the oldest children one of twenty and one of sixteen, the others under thirteen years. One horse, three rabbits, one cow, 8 guilders 14 5-cent pieces.
